About Dr. Deepak Kumar Semwal
Dr. Semwal is an internationally recognized researcher in
phytochemistry, phytomedicine, ethnopharmacology, and natural product research.
He has served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in South Africa and India, led
multiple funded research projects, published over 120 scientific papers,
authored 12 books, and holds several patents.
His research interests include natural product chemistry,
clinical pharmacology, drug discovery, Ayurveda, medicinal plants, and
ethnopharmacology. Through his academic and research contributions, Dr. Semwal
continues to advance the scientific understanding of plant-based therapeutics
and traditional healing systems.
He is widely respected for his commitment to
interdisciplinary research and for promoting evidence-based approaches to
natural product discovery. His expertise makes him an important voice in
discussions on the future of botanical medicine and integrative health.
